Old news I know… but I still can’t believe Amazon bought Whole Foods. One of my favorite services Amazon offers is Prime. In case you have never tried it, you get free 2 day shipping on virtually everything. It is absolutely worth the $99 per year. Since I use Amazon all the time, I wanted to share a few of my favorite snacks with you.
Here are 8 of my favorite healthy snacks you can buy on Amazon.
These sprouted pumpkin seeds are easily digestible and are an excellent source of iron, magnesium, manganese, copper, protein, and fiber. They are gluten-free, dairy-free, and nut-free so they cover most food intolerances and allergies. In my opinion, they have a cheesy and delicious taste.
Despite the iffy reviews, I really like these kale chips; especially the nacho flavored ones. They are crispy, salty, and flavorful. One serving has 3 grams of fiber and 6 grams of protein, plus it is a rich source of vitamin A and iron. These kale chips are gluten-free and a great vegan snack. The only hard part is eating half the bag (a serving) instead of the whole bag!
So this is not a good snack if you are dairy-free because the only ingredient is cheese. However, it is absolutely delicious and high in protein/low in carb. One serving is only 70 calories and it has 5 grams of protein and 0 grams of carbohydrates/sugar. This is a great snack for those following a ketogenic diet.
These are one of my favorite bars for several reasons. Each bar contains 13 grams of fiber, 11 grams of protein, and only 3 grams of sugar. It has excellent healthy fats from coconut oil and chia seeds. Plus they taste delicious! The only downside is if you have a peanut allergy, these bars are not for you!
I love these individually wrapped, single serving snack packs. They are super crunchy and naturally gluten-free. They have 6 grams of fiber and 5 grams of protein per serving. They are also rich in iron.
Unique diversity pack with delicious ingredients including kale, hemp, cilantro, goji and cocao nibs. Gorilly Good uses all organic and non-GMO ingredients. These snack packs have a low glycemic index and are nutritionally dense.
Olives are such a great source of healthy fats. I love these basil and garlic snack packs for on the go fuel. Did you know your brain is the fattiest organ in our body? So whenever I need to enhance my focus, I snack on healthy fats and these olives are the best.
This variety pack allows you to try them all: Sweet Chipotle, Chili Lime, Black Cherry BBQ. My personal favorite is chili lime. Krave Jerky is gluten-free (which is hard to find because so many jerky companies use soy sauce) and its rich in protein.
