Frequently Asked Questions

What is functional or personalized medicine?

The Institute of Functional Medicine describes the Functional Medicine Model as “an individualized, patient-centered, science-based approach that empowers patients and practitioners to work together to address the underlying causes of disease and promote optimal wellness.”

The goal with Functional Medicine is to uncover the root cause of symptoms and disease rather than just managing them so true healing can take place.

We love to prescribe lifestyle medicine whenever possible including dietary changes, sleep recommendations, exercise regimens, stress-reducing activities, and supplements when appropriate.

At STAT Wellness, we very much believe in allopathic medicine and we will prescribe pharmaceuticals (medication) as needed.

Do you take insurance?

All of our medical visits are fee for service or cash-based. However, we do accept HSA (Health Savings Accounts) and we process labs through insurance whenever possible.

Each insurance plan is different so we recommend calling your insurance company if you have any questions regarding lab reimbursement or deductibles.

What's included in the membership?

We offer 3 membership options: Medicine only, Medicine + Movement, or Movement only.

Medicine Membership includes 5 functional medicine visits, 10 health coaching consults, 1 nutrition consult, 4 body composition scans, 10% off supplements and retail, plus monthly educational events.

Our Medicine + Movement includes all the above PLUS unlimited group fitness classes.

Our Movement only membership includes unlimited fitness classes with 3, 6, and 12 month commitment options.

You can learn more about our memberships here.

Can I do less than 12 months for the membership?

Our Medicine + Movement membership and Medicine only membership last 12 months to give you plenty of time to use all the perks included in the membership such as health coaching, nutrition consults, and the five Functional Medicine visits. However, our Movement only memberships are available for 3, 6, and 12-month commitments and you can add our medical services à la carte at any time. You can find a full list of our pricing here.

What does the space look like?

It’s beautiful! Our space is 3700 square feet with large windows in the front and back, exposing natural lighting and greenery. Two-thirds of the space is an open gym with a variety of equipment (squat racks, dumbbells, sleds, TRX, slam balls, rowers, assault bikes, a treadmill, kettlebells, and more). The other one-third of the space is our medical side with four consult rooms for functional medicine visits, health coaching, nutrition consults, or IV therapy.

Come stop by and say hello!

How soon should I expect to feel better?

Everybody is different and there is no one-size-fits-all solution to health and wellness. Some people notice improvements in weeks, while others require months. However, we are here for you every step of the way and our highly skilled staff’s top priority is to get you feeling your best!

What is the benefit of IV Therapy?

There are so many benefits!

Because our soil is not as nutritionally dense as it once was, many of us have suboptimal nutrients, even with an excellent diet. In addition, digestive dysfunction, which alters nutrient absorption, is common. Intravenous therapy bypasses the gut to increase absorption.

Myers cocktail – which is a blend of several vitamins and minerals including B Vitamins, Magnesium, Selenium, Vitamin C, and Calcium – is a great and convenient way to get a variety of nutrients for optimal health.

          • B Vitamins help with energy, methylation, and hormone balance
          • Magnesium is a relaxing and calming mineral that helps with muscle tension, headaches, and heart health
          • Selenium is a powerful nutrient for thyroid and immune function
          • Vitamin C boosts your immune system and helps repair body tissue.
          • Calcium benefits your bones and muscle

We also do Amino Acid IVs, which are the building blocks for protein and they help with recovery, lean muscle mass, hair, skin, and nails.

Do you sell supplements?

We proudly sell Ora Organics both at our physical location and on our website. These products are organic, plant-based, and free of gluten, dairy, fillers, dyes, and preservatives. Check them out here.

All other supplements are filled through FullScript. Check them out here.

What does boutique fitness mean?

We describe our classes as boutique because they are smaller in nature. None of our classes will have more than 16 people in them – that’s why it’s important to sign up in advance! You can sign up for any of our classes here

What should I wear for group fitness classes?

Any athletic wear is perfect!

You need closed-toe sneakers for our STAMINA (HIIT inspired class) and our STRENGTH class.

You can go barefoot in our STABILITY class if you prefer.

Do you have a shower?

Of course! We have one shower and provide shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and a blow dryer – if you don’t have time to shower, we also have dry shampoo for you to use

Is there parking available at the Roswell Location?

Yes! We have a number of parking spots in the cul-de-sac as well as in the lower lot. You can also park on Vickery Street if needed.

Does the Roswell Location offer group fitness?

Our Roswell location does not offer group fitness. However, we do have a full gym on our lower level and offer personal and small group training in the space, as well as Physical Therapy.

Can I use your services without becoming a member?

Yes! All of our services are available for use individually if the membership is not right for you. You can see a full list of our services and pricing HERE.
