Protein is an essential macronutrient that supports muscle health, blood sugar balance, immune function, and overall wellness. At STAT Wellness, we encourage our clients to consume the majority of their protein from whole food sources. That being said, we recognize that life gets busy, and consistently meeting a high protein goals isn’t always easy. A high-quality protein powder can be a convenient way to help bridge the gap and support daily protein intake without replacing a whole-foods diet.

When choosing a protein powder, we look for products made with clean, minimally processed ingredients, free of artificial sweeteners, gums, fillers, and unnecessary additives. Equip Protein is one of our favorite and most recommended protein powders because it uses high-quality ingredients and is sourced from grass-fed beef protein isolate. Grass-fed beef isolate is a complete protein source, meaning it contains all nine essential amino acids that the body cannot make on its own. It’s also a great dairy-free alternative to whey protein. We find that most of our clients tolerate it well and love the texture and taste.

In addition to the protein, we love Equip’s organic, mold-free coffee and collagen peptides. Their coffee is carefully tested for purity and quality, while the collagen mixes easily into coffee, smoothies, or yogurt to support healthy skin, joints, hair, nails, and connective tissue.

We’re so excited that Equip is now available at all STAT Wellness locations. Our nutritionists/dietitians have put together a roundup of simple, delicious recipes featuring their favorite ways to use Equip products. We hope you enjoy!
