It’s that time of year again; the season of GIFT GIVING!!
And this is my favorite blog to write.
I don’t know about you, but I always seem to wait until the very last minute to buy Christmas gifts. Hopefully this holiday gift guide will help you (and me), purchase gifts quicker and easier.
For the health nut:
Healthy fats are IN right now. Whether you are following a Mediterranean diet, ketogenic diet, or you just understand the benefits of healthy fats, America is consuming more and more fats especially oils (avocado, olive, flax, hemp, and more). This oil mister is an awesome gift that allows you to not only spray your food with oil, but you can infuse it with your favorite spices and herbs.
Part of a healthy lifestyle is taking care of our skin. This Foreo Luna 2 facial scrub exfoliates your skin to leave you with younger radiating skin. This device is gentle enough to use nightly!
Its tea time. This adorable tea pot is a wonderful gift for a tea lover; the Smeg Kettle comes in all different colors and it even has a built in cord wrap. Pair this gift with some delicious and healthy organic matcha tea.
Have a friend or family member that loves kombucha as much as I do? Save money and start making kombucha at HOME. This starter kit is a wonderful gift for those that love a happy gut.
Know someone that loves to cook and is always looking for inspiration? Cookbooks are always great gifts! Some of my recent favorites include The First Mess, Against the Grain, Naturally Nourished, and The Paleo Healing Cookbook.
For the fitness guru:
Individual protein packets make great stocking stuffers. I love this Amazing Greens organic and vegan superfood protein shake. Its absolutely delicious blended in a vitamix with fresh spinach, unsweetened almond or coconut milk, and half a green banana.
Don’t let the fact that you don’t have time to shower stop you from getting in a quick sweat. This dry shampoo is the bomb. Its too good not to share with your fitness loving friend!
There is a new FitBit watch… and its the best one yet. Its called the FitBit Ionic watch. This watch is 100% waterproof so you can go swimming with it, the watch can store and save over 300 songs, it has built in GPS, and you can download apps!
We all need a little more yoga in our life. Help accessorize your yogi friend with socks, yoga towels, and yoga sling back pack. They will be so stylish at their next hot yoga class.
Custom gifts:
This custom made agenda on Etsy is awesome. You can personalize it with your friend or family members name and determine whether you want the days vertical or horizontal. The agenda has areas for you to create goals each month and check off weekly to do items. If you know someone that is organized AND a planner, this is for them!
Do you share a favorite day and spot? This custom framed star map is an actual view of the stars the night you want to remember forever AND it comes framed.
Create a photo book through Artifact Uprising with all your favorite memories. This thoughtful gift will be cherished forever!
When its all about comfort:
Who says you need to be comforable or stylish? Why can’t you be both. I love these Allbirds sneakers for men and women AND they are made out of wool. How cool!
Everyone needs some dreamy cotton J Crew pajamas, plus you can add your monogram for only $10. Once you put these on… you won’t want to take them off!
Staying in is apparently the new going out. Here are my two favorite games (at this time) for those that like to stay in (and wear pajamas); the two games are called Codenames and Sequence. You need to check them out!
It’s not going to be cold forever, this double ENO hammock is a perfect gift for the person that likes to relax AND be outdoors. Curl up with a book or just take a power nap break on your next hike. This hammock is seriously comfortable!
For the dog lover:
A dog camera that tosses treats to your dog even when you aren’t home… yes, yes its real! The Furbo Dog Camera is cutting edge in the dog lovers world!
For only $20 per month, you can get your friend (or dog) their very own BarkBox. This was given as a gift to us and Miss Charlie absolutely loved it so I had to share. Each box typically comes with 2 toys and 2 different treats. The gift that keeps on giving!
Does your dog lover also like to run? This hands free running belt with bungee leash is a great gift. It has completely changed Charlie and I’s runs!
Who doesn’t want to stare at adorable pictures of dogs all day? The Dogist is an awesome book that needs to be shared!
For the tech savy:
The echo dot is a hands free, voice controlled device that will make calls for you, answer your questions, play music, and tell you random facts. This gift pairs great with the fire stick. This streaming media stick is only $39.99 and it streams several channels including Netflix, Amazon, Hulu, YouTube, and more. Save money on cable and invest in the fire stick.
We all take tons of photos on our iPhone, but how often do we actually print them? Now you can print photos instantly from your iPhone. How cool! The Pryant Pocket Instant Photo Printer for iPhone is a great gift for those that love technology and photos!
Technology + TV + Art… Can they all coexist? YES! If you are in the market for both a new TV and unique art, this TV is for you. It was designed to look like a piece of artwork. AND you can change out the display so you never get tired of the same piece.
Calling all Apple fans… there is now an apple inspired candle. Talk about a good conversation starter? This Inspire Mac Candle No 2 was created to smell like a new apple product by an Apple accessory company called Twelve South. What else could you possibly want to smell?
Want a complete picture of what is going on in your home while you are gone (or in another room)? You need the Notion Home Monitoring System. It connects to WiFi to give you information about what is happening in your home. These sensors detect everything from movement, to loud noise, to water leaks, and more. It can also integrate with Nest thermostat.
Whelp friends, that’s it. I hope you got some good gift ideas. Do you have some favorite gifts to share? Comment below.
Happy Holidays!
