What are three ways you stay healthy with a busy schedule?

  1. I make sure to eat at least 6 cups of vegetables per day
  2. I drink 80 oz of water (at least) per day
  3. I prioritize sleep

If you could only eat one cuisine for the rest of your life, what would it be and why?

Gosh, that is a tough question because I love so many cuisines. I’m obsessed with anything that is fresh and full of a lot of flavor. If I had to choose, I would say it’s a tie between Thai and Mexican food!

What’s your favorite healthy snack?

Sprouted pumpkin seeds or spiced almonds for sure!

Do you have a favorite type of workout?

Anything quick and effective. I’m typically short on time, so I love a good 15 minute high intensity interval training workout blending strength, cardio, and core.

Try this circuit (1 minute each, 3x through)

  1. Squat or Vertical Jumps
  2. Push-Ups
  3. Back Stepping Lunges
  4. Mountain Climbers
  5. Plank

Do you have a favorite inspirational podcast or book?

So many good podcasts out there – I love How I Built This and learning about successful entrepreneurs’ journey.

Tell us how you first got interested in health and wellness.

Honestly, I got into health and wellness after gaining weight in college. I quickly learned you actually had to be mindful of what you were eating and move purposefully throughout the day. I become a personal trainer to learn more and then decided to pursue a career in nursing and just kept going!
